I wanted to express my love for moggio, my love for Zappa, and
also my appreciation to Jeremy Fleisher for painstakingly (sp?)
transcribing it for me. If anyone is in the Bay Area, and is interested
in playing some Zappa, please E-mail me. I am john staley,

This post from 25 years ago is how I met my friend John Staley III. He just passed away. We played a LOT of Zappa together over the years. I've written more about him here.

This is beautiful man. Sorry for your loss but revel in the time you
spent with a good friend. It's all still there in the grooves. Time is
of affliction.
