Liam Gallagher, Oasis 164
Jim Morrison, The Doors 149
Madonna 140
Shakira 140
They must have mixed it with the height measured in cm (tho
Madonna also has a dwarfish mind).

I wonder if those numbers are "legit" ?
But somehow Zappa being that high up there doesn't surpise me.....I
might have guess 140 for general IQ......230 for music.
I wonder how that compares with guys like Mozart or if it even really
matters.

famous musician Frank Zappa.

Abstract
This paper presents a detailed examination of the life of famed
musician Frank Zappa. The life and works of Zappa are explored
and reasons are presented as to why he should be labeled a 20th
century genius in the field of music.

From the Paper:
"It used to be that the word genius only applied to a
standardized IQ score on an Intelligence Quotient test. In more
recent years the world has come to the understanding that there
are many types of intelligence and that genius can be found in
many areas of life. One area that has always escaped the watchful
eye of genius identifiers has been that of the music world. While
musicians were often referred to as talented or gifted, the word
genius was rarely used. Today, with the new understanding that
genius can come in many forms; artists from the past and present
are being recognized for the true genius they possessed. One of
the most talented geniuses in the field of music was famed artist
Frank Zappa. Zappa will always be remembered as a 20th century
genius because of his lifetime achievement and contributions to
the world of music."

No, Shakira really has an IQ of 140.

She is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese (and she knows some
Italian and Arabic). Her next album will feature some French and German
singing. She writes all her music, writes all her lyrics (in multiple
languages), and produces most of it too. In her last concert she played
the harmonica, the acustic and electric guitar, and the drums. And on
top of all that she can dance like no other.

Shakira is one of (if not THE) most talented and promising Pop artist
of today.

Her next album is being executive produced by the legendary Rick Rubin
who has worked with Slayer, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the
Machine, the Beastie Boys, and System of a Down. So Shakira's album
should be a hit.
